1. Hear our plea, O Lord of Love,
may our request be fulfilled. Listen to our voice asking for a kind heart
with generosity, our voice that asks for a pure heart. Life! Life! You are
our life! 2. Bend down, o Heavenly Father, that you may hear our call. Behold our ache, our throbbing pangs, our pain and our numbness. Our thoughts recall your love. Life! Life! You are our life! 3. Peer down to us here on earth, grant us your power that we may live. It is the breath of life that we shall see, the beauty of your peace. Life! Life! You are our life! 4. Hasten, O holy ones gone before us, our people who live in heaven. This is our prayer of protection, a prayer to free us, a prayer to ward off evil. May the Mother of God hear this prayer that we may receive the life of her Son! Life! Life! You are our life! 5.
