Ps. 27 4
"The Lord is My Salvation and My Light" [ʻEmiliana (b)]
from "Hawaiian Psalms
Kolu (Volume III)"
by Robert M. Mondoy [27]
The Lord is my salvation and my light. The Lord is my salvation and
my light.
ʻO Iauē (Ka
Haku) koʻu ola mau loa
ʻO Iauē (Ka Haku)
koʻu ola mau loa
1. The Lord is my own saving light; of
whom should I be afraid? And God is my strong fortress; and I shall
dread nothing.
2. I ask the Lord, one thing I seek, all my life to
live in God's house. There caught up in God's beauty at
prayer in
his temple.
3. O God, now listen to my voice, have mercy; answer me.
Deep within a voice has spoken:
"Look for the face of God."
4. I
know I will see how good God is while I am still alive. Be strong, trust
in the Lord.
Be brave, trust in God
