E hīmeni aku koʻu waha i kou pono, E hīmeni aku koʻu waha i kou pono a pō ka lā 1. In you, O Lord, I take shelter; your love never fails. You always hear my call. In your justice, free me; by your power, save me; with your gentle ways rescue me. 2. In you I take my refuge; you, my tower and safe haven. Keep me safe, my rock. From the hand of the wicked, from the grip of the ruthless, far from all who harm me, saving God! 3. For it is you, O Lord, who are my hope and trusty guide. For it is you, O Lord, who loved me from my youth, since my motherÊ»s womb. So my hope has always been in you. 4. My lips shall speak your glory and my heart shall daily sing and shout your saving goodness shown to me this lifetime, teaching me your glory. So I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. LOH only 5.
