    Mondoy Music is a resource of Hawaiian religious music, among other things.  Highlighted  is the finest Hawaiian religious music, all in Hawaiian musical styles, many in Hawaiian language.  If your computer supports midi sound clips, you can actually listen to the music featured in the website. Robert M. Mondoy, a biography

Robert Mondoy is a local musician, composer, and teacher in Hawaiʻi. Born and raised on the island of Molokaʻi, he received his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Hawaiʻi and a Masters in Composition from San Francisco State University.

He has served as the Director of Music at St. John Vianney Church in Kailua, Oʻahu since 1980 and is a Music Consultant and Instructor for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Honolulu.

Robert also performs for private receptions and parties, and is a favored hire for weddings and funerals alike. His compositions and arrangements are sung throughout churches in Hawaiʻi, a repertoire well known for masses, psalms, anthems and local-style music inculturation. He often staffs and directs workshops in music ministry.

Qualified in piano pedagogy, Robert has taught piano students since 1972. He maintains his performance and instruction skills in classical and contemporary piano music.  Robert Mondoy also teaches at the Pearl City Piano Studio in Pearl City.
